CIVEN Metal High-Strength Rolled-Annealed (RA) Brass Foil features a balance of mechanical strength, electrical conductivity, and formability. Produced via multi-stage cold rolling and controlled atmosphere annealing, the material maintains dimensional tolerances and uniform microstructures across long coils for high-speed stamping and micro-component manufacturing.

Base Alloys: CuZn30 (C26800), CuZn37 (C27200), CuZn40 (C28000) per ASTM B36/B36M and EN 1652.
Chemical Composition: Copper 63.0% to 71.0%, Zinc balance, total impurities <= 0.1%.
Microstructure: Fully recrystallized equiaxed grain structure via continuous annealing, eliminating internal stresses and directional property variations. 

 

Performance Features

 

Tensile Strength: 450 to 680 MPa (temper dependent: H02 to EH).
Elongation: >= 5% to 25% (tailored for deep drawing or sharp-radius bending).
Electrical Conductivity: 22% to 28% IACS at 20 deg C.
Formability: High Erichsen value, tight bending radius capability (R = 0 for thin gauges).
